Happy to share that I recently completed a training on Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS)! 👨🔬🧪
While my research primarily focuses on spectroscopic techniques, this experience has been invaluable in broadening my understanding of scientific methods and analytical technologies.
Month: November 2024
Technical University of Munich (TUM) Internship
I am delighted to share the incredible experience I have had over the past two months working alongside a group of exceptional colleagues – Sebastian Herr, Francesca Gasparin, Tao Yuan, Jinxin Ai, Myeongseop Kim, Alexandra, Constantin Berger, and Isabella – under the guidance of our outstanding supervisor, Prof. Dr. Miguel A. Pleitez in Translational Optoacoustic Laboratory at the Technical University of Munich. In addition, in Munich, I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Kıvanç Görgülü, a highly accomplished scientist in his field.
Our collaborative efforts have led to remarkable achievements in various experiments spanning the realms of biology, chemistry, and physics. From the intricate art of sample preparation to the precision of measurements, I have witnessed unparalleled growth in my skills and knowledge.
Moreover, I have realized more than ever how important self-supervising is, and I have had the privilege to learn the most important tricks of self-supervision. Beyond the laboratory, I have had the opportunity to forge lifelong friendships and gain invaluable experiences. These moments have not only enriched my professional journey but have also contributed to my personal growth and well-roundedness.
As we continue to strive for excellence in our work, let us also remember the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Balancing hard work with personal well-being is key to our sustained success as I have experienced during my time here.
Looking back, I am truly grateful for this enriching chapter and excited for the journey ahead. Here’s to continuous learning, growth, and collaborative success!

5th National Molecular Biology Congress
🧬🦾Excited to share that on May 4-5, I had the pleasure of attending the 5th National Molecular Biology Congress organized by İYTE Yaşam Bilimleri Topluluğu (YABİTO) at İzmir Institute of Technology. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about a wide range of topics, from ancient DNA in chewing gum to cutting-edge bio-materials.
Despite my background in physics, exploring the natural sciences as a whole is incredibly enlightening. It reinforces my belief that there’s always more to discover and learn.
